Government and “quasi” government publications are in this category.  Because of resources available to governments and also because of the scope of many government programs, government publications can be a useful source of unique information for management accountants.   Publications from organizations that have strong government connections (“pseudo” government organizations), such as the World Bank, the Intentional Monetary Fund (IMF), and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) , are included in this category.
A Management Accounting Information Center article “Finding Accounting and Business Articles On the Internet” attempts to show that the Internet is a source of useful and freely available substantive articles and news reports of interest to accountants and managers.
