This site, maintained by Nottingham Trust University in England, searches a database of over 500 journals and magazines that publish articles on topics related to manufacturing. A list of the journals and magazines searched at this site can be found by clicking “About RAM” at the front page, and then “journals and magazines”. Clicking on “More Options” at the front page brings you to the advanced search menu. Topics of interest to management accountants can often be published in papers focusing on manufacturing. A search using the terms “activity and costs” returned 63 article titles and their abstracts. Only abstracts are available from this site. Most of these 63 articles deal with activity-based costing in manufacturing. |
