This link takes you to a Census Bureau site, from which you can obtain the percentage of total costs for such expenditures and activities as taxes, office supplies, repairs and maintenance, lease and rental, and many others. Data is based on five-year surveys of hundreds of companies, and the data is separated by NAICS and SIC classifications (1997 and before data; after 1997, only NAICS). Unfortunately, the data is published 3 to 4 years late. Also provided are percentages of required and optional benefits paid by companies. |
