I will only charge for the quarter hour once the quarter hour is reached. Per hour costs are less for projects exceeding 20 hours. No project will be undertaken until after I feel confident I understand what is wanted and I feel comfortable with the subject matter. For each request, I will provide by e-mail an evaluation to the requestor of what I believe the project will consist of and what success is likely, after which the requestor decides on whether to proceed. There is no charge for this initial evaluation. If, in this initial evaluation, I find the answers to what is being requested, I will provide the answers without charge. When a decision is made by the requestor to proceed, I will e-mail a work agreement to the requestor outlining the project. The requestor will need to reply to the e-mail with requestor contact information data and a statement that the requestor agrees to the information on the work agreement. The requestor can require initially, or at any time during the project, that the project not exceed a designated time/cost. Project responses will be e-mailed, unless requested otherwise. Requestor follow-up questions may be responded to without charge, decided on a case-by-case basis. In other words, in a sense, I offer a warranty to my work - which allows the requestor to work with me to get exactly what is wanted the first time, without any further charges. At any time, regardless of any work statements or any other agreements, the requestor can request me to stop work on a project, which I will do immediately. Only work done to that point will be billable work. Invoices will be e-mailed periodically and payment is expected within 30 days. For longer-term projects, down payments will be expected. No project will be undertaken for requestors with balances more than 30 days old. Payment can be by credit card or from a PayPal account, by using the “PayPal – Click Here To Buy” button below. Payment can also be by check. Arrangements are available for long-term projects and retainer working relationships that will modify the billing process. In other words, for such arrangements, partial deferred payments can be arranged on a case-by-case basis for long-term projects and for retainer work relationships. All working relationships with each client will be handled confidentially. Requestor security requirements about requests and responses will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. |
